With 27 eager golfers we played C & A nines today from the yellow tees at 6,100 yards and the scores were relatively good. The course was in fine nick with the greens playing true.
In Div 1 Alex Field showed the others how to do it as he returned a good score of 37 points to take the top prize. Second past the post was Paul Smith, with Steve Younger finishing third after beating Dave Maw and Paul Hack via the count-back system.
Mal Foord took the top prize in Div 2 with 37 points while JC Lhoste and Tony Cook followed in one point increments.

Thursday saw eighteen players take on Mountain Shadow off the white tees
Steve Younger set the course alight, returning to the judges with 38 points, which kept him one shot clear of a greatly improved John Coetzee. Third was the ever consistent Mashi taking the bronze via the count-back method from Colin Stielow, with Rudy Regenass turning out in fifth place.
