Burapha was the test today and after a swift check-in we were off the C1 tee 50 minutes early under overcast skies and hot conditions. The course was very wet from overnight rains but in fine condition with some of the best greens around.
It was a slowish round of 4 hours and 10 minutes due to cart restrictions. Back in the clubhouse welcomes went out to Walter Baechli, just back from a tour of Spain, Stu Rifkin, Eric Black and Graham Buckingham.
The ever colorful Walter Baechli was the winner with 35 points, one ahead of Eric Black in second while Stu Riflin took third on 31 after edging a count back over Graham Buckingham.
