The event – featuring RSX men’s and women’s races, Techno boys and girls, men’s and women’s slalom, and a junior’s competition – was seen as a test before the regional championships in Malaysia.

Thais finished first in five of the brackets, including perennial RSX champ Siriporn Kaewduang-ngam jumping to, and finishing first in, the women’s slalom event.

The on-water competition was fierce and proved to be a valuable warm-up for the upcoming Asian Windsurfing Championships.
