Thailand’s Chayanit Wangmahaporn, a student from St. Andrews International School, Green Valley, cruised to a seven-shot win at the le coq sportif Hong Kong Junior Open Championship held at the Fanling Golf Course earlier this month.  Chayanit added a 73 to her first round 76 to finish well ahead of Hong Kong’s Vivian Li who closed with a 75 for second place.

Lucas Lam won the boys event after carding a one-under 69 on a rain swept final day.  Hsieh Ting-wei of Chinese Taipei finished in a tie for second with Hong Kong’s Leon D’Souza on a two-day score of 151.
