Thursday, August 17, Treasure Hill – Stableford
This week there was only 1 competition because a part of our group played in Kabinburi at the monthly PSC tournament. We were successful there, with Dave Smith the winner in A Flight on the first day and Hidde Bijl snaring a near pin on the second day.
On Thursday we went to Treasure Hill which was in good condition. Looking at the results it is clear that the course is difficult but we had a thrilling finish between Dave Smith and Willem Lasonder. Dave was the more consistent player and Willem fell short on the last 4 holes after a good front nine. Dave won with 32 points, beating Willem on count back. In third was Paddy Devereux with 28 points.
The near to the pins went to David Smith (2) and David Lusha.
