Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, July 25, Greenwood – Stableford
On Tuesday we went up the 331 to Greenwood and played the B & C course there. The sky was threateningly dark but we were lucky and only a few drops didn’t stop our game.
The course was in good condition, even after all the recent rain. The greens were very good and we had an enjoyable day with reasonable scores.
It was Dave Smith again who showed us how to play good golf. He came first with 40 stableford points, four ahead of Stan Rees in second with 36.
The near pins went to Dave Smith and Stephen Ford.
Thursday we had no competition but played an invitational tournament at St. Andrews 2000. It was a very pleasant day on a beautiful course and in nice weather.
