PSC Lawn Bowls Report

Tuesday, February 1 saw the presentation of prizes for the Tuesday singles League.  The tournament was played over 10 weeks, with 18 competitors fighting for the honours.

On a nail biting last day, with the competition ebbing and flowing, the first three were finally established.  The third prize went to the current champion Lindsay, but he couldn’t make the presentation because of visitors from the UK arriving at same time.Ken was the Gold medal winner.

The silver medal went to a very popular member of the league, who always plays his bowls in the right manner and deserved his medal.  Congratulations to Graham Swann.

There can only be one winner however, so the gold went to Ken, who has always pushed for honours and on this occasion was a deserved winner.
