Tuesday, August 22, Phoenix – Stableford
This week we visited two nice challenging courses, Phoenix and Greenwood. We were all especially impressed by the condition of Greenwood, it was perfect.
Phoenix was up first on Tuesday and we played the Mountain and Lake courses. Stan Rees was playing very consistently and was able to beat our top player Dave Smith. Stan won with 40 points and Dave was second with 37.
The near pins went to Stuart Banks (2) and Dave Smith.
Thursday, August 24, Greenwood – Stableford
On Thursday we went up the 331 to Greenwood and welcomed our regular guest players Alex Everden and Ian Waddell.
We played the B & C course and a recent holiday seemed to have done its work for Jonathan Pratt as he won today with 38 points. Dave Smith came second with 37 and Stan Rees was third on 33.
The near pins were claimed by Alex Everden, Jonathan Pratt and Dave Smith.
