After a swift check-in we were off the 1st tee at Bangpakong Riverside 10 minutes early under sunny skies and very little wind.  The course was in fine condition but with some green coring and sanding going on until the end of the month.  We did not catch any groups in front during our 4 hour and 10 minute round.

Two flights today with the cut set at handicap 21 and Henning Olsen returned a fine 40 point score to take the A Flight honours.  Jan Nielsen came in second on a count back over Brian Parish, both returning 38 points each.  Brian Gabe came in fourth just one further back and Leif Kirkgaard was fifth with 36.

Graham Buckingham topped the B Flight with 37 points and one point back Jan Johansen took second on a count back over Kenny Chung.  Mike Winfield filled fourth spot with 35 points and Carole Kubicki completed the podium in fifth.

Pattaya Country Club was Friday’s challenge and the course was in good shape and appears to be improving each month.

We had two flights once again today with the cut at handicap 20 and Leif Kirkgaard came out on top in the A Flight with 35 points, one ahead of Mike Allidi in second who edged a count back over Elias Magnusson.  Richard kubicki completed the podium in fourth with 31 points.

Tom cotton Won the b flight with the best score of the day, 39 points, and he was three clear of second placed Carole Kubicki who beat Mike Winfield on a c/b while Torben Sorensen secured fourth spot a further three back.
