The Mercedes-Benz Junior Golf Championships have formed a partnership with the White Ball Golf Academy to support the development of junior golfers in Thailand. The Championships are unique in that both “low scores and high grades” count towards qualification for the season ending Masters Final.

In order to support the technical skills development of junior golfers in the program, White Ball Golf Academy will undertake a series of technical assessment clinics both at their facility and at a number of the rounds in the Championship.

The clinics will be run by White Ball’s PGA Head Professional Gavin Long and his team and will focus on all key areas of shot making; drives, mid-irons, wedges, pitches, chips and putting.

The Mercedes-Benz Junior Golf Championships are divided into four age classes:

* Boys and Girls aged 12 and under

* Boys and Girls aged 14 and under

* Boys and Girls aged 17 and under

* Boys and Girls aged 23 and under

Winners in each of the age categories based on the accumulated points scored in the qualifying rounds, plus bonus points for educational grades, go on to compete in the Mercedes-Benz Asian Masters Final where they compete against the top junior golfers from around the Asia-Pacific region.

Full details of the 13th Mercedes-Benz Junior Golf Championship regulations and the entry form can be found under the sub-heading “regulations” on the golf home page.
