Fourteen golfers set out to take on the challenge of Plutaluang, or as we know it Big Navy.  The course was in good nick with the greens being a little on the slow side for the first hour, but as soon as the sun was out they did an about face.

With a small field we played all the novelties and only the 1 division with 3 places.  Dave Maw, a little slow to start this campaign, showed he was out for business and finished the day with a very good 39 points, six clear of his opposition.  Second past the post was JC Lhoste while third went to a count-back, with Glenn Smith getting the nod over Keith Buchanan.

Thursday, Dec. 21, Treasure Hill – Stableford

1st Mashi Kaneta (15) 26pts

2nd Dave Maw (13) 25pts

Near Pins: #2 Mike Johns, #6 Mashi Kaneta, #17 Pierre Cere.

Long Putts: #9 Dave Maw, #18 JC Lhoste

In a week that saw The Growling Swan crippled with a huge Injury list, nine golfers were up to the challenge and were prepared to take on Treasure Hill GC.

We played one division only and chose to have only two spots on the podium with all novelties in play.  Mashi Kaneta led the pack, his paltry 26 points still being enough to keep him clear of the chasers.  Dave Maw came in second, beating Mike Johns via the count-back system.
