Goal drought continues for United

Pattaya United extended the unbeaten run to seven matches since mid September but were once again unable to find the back of the net in a dour goalless draw with Police United in Bangkok last weekend.  United remain ahead of last week’s opponents on goal difference although the Dolphins have played more games than any other team in the division.

With just five matches to go Pattaya need to find their scoring touch sooner rather than later if they are to challenge for a top six position at the end of the season.  They will have a good chance in their next game at home against bottom club Khonkaen in Chonburi on Sunday, December 4, with kick-off scheduled for 6 p.m.

Chonburi Sharks meanwhile took over second spot from Muang Thong United after the latter could only draw 2-2 away at BEC Tero and the Sharks gained maximum points with a 2-0 win at Khonkaen.

League leaders Buriram continued on their winning ways with a 1-0 victory at Siam Navy that saw the Sattahip club slip into the bottom two.  Sriracha moved up one spot with a valuable point at Osotspa.
