Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, Nov. 15, Plutaluang – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to Plutaluang and it had been some time since we last played there. We played the South and East nines, the weather was sunny with a nice breeze and the course was in good shape, although still a little wet after all the rain we have had.
This course is not easy and we had no big scores. Sam Gettinby (H/cap 26) played consistently and won with 36 points while Paddy Devereux (16) took second with 33.
The near pin awards went to Paddy Devereux and Willem Lasonder.
Thursday, Nov. 17, The Emerald – Stableford
We went to Emerald on a beautiful sunny Thursday and found the course in good shape, but with sometimes slow greens.
Willem Lasonder played well today and won with 40 points ahead of Sam Gettinby who confirmed his form of the week came second with 34. Neil Harvey placed third with 31 points.
The near pins were won by Stuart Banks, Paddy Devereux, Daniel Oshiro and Willem Lasonder.
