PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort
Tuesday, Jan. 20, Pleasant Valley – Stableford
Tuesday we were played Pleasant Valley and teed off from the 10th hole. The weather was perfect but the condition of the course was a little bit disappointing, especially the back nine. The fairways of many holes were too wet and even during midday the staff continued sprinkling the fairways.
The results were very close today and the winner with 36 stableford points was Bob Edwards (H/cap 10), who beat Jonathan Pratt (11) on the count back. In third place with 33 points came Paddy Devereux (22), beating two others on the count back.
Near pins went to Paddy Devereux and Neil Harvey.
Thursday, Jan. 22, Mt. Shadow – Match-play
Thursday we went with a small group to Mountain Shadow. The course and weather were excellent for our match-play tournament. Martin Hayes and Willem Lasonder were the winners again, same as the week before.
