Tuesday, Sept. 26, Silky Oak – Stableford
On Tuesday we went Silky Oak and found a nice, well maintained course. Some of us had problems with all the water hazards and the rough but today the were no hazards for Paddy Devereux who played a very solid round and won with 42 stableford points. Second today and also playing well was Brett Gale with 37 points.
The near pins went to Brett (3) and Paddy.
Thursday, Sept. 28, The Emerald – Stableford
It was a warm sunny day on Thursday when we visited Emerald G.C. The course was in good condition but the type of grass was sometimes a problem for us to hit from.
Paddy Devereux confirmed his good shape this week and won with 36 points while in second place was Neil Harvey with 33.
The near pins were claimed by Neil and Paddy.
