Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, Dec. 13, Mt. Shadow – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to Mountain Shadow and the course was found to be in good condition. It was nice weather with clouds and a nice breeze.
Despite the good conditions for golf we didn’t have any high scores, but the results were close together. Neil Harvey (H/cap 14) was the best of the bunch today and won with 33 points. Paddy Devereux (15) followed him up the podium steps with 31 points.
The near pins went to Willem Lasonder, Neil Harvey, Jonathan Pratt and Daniel Oshiro.
Thursday, Dec. 15, Pattavia – Stableford
Pattavia was our venue for Thursday and it was again a cloudy day and a cool morning. The course was in good condition but the fast greens here were very difficult for us.
We had a neck and neck race for top spot between Stuart Banks (23) and Willem Lasonder, both with 39 points, but the back-nine of Stuart was better so he took the honours today.
The near pin awards went to Paddy Devereux, Neil Harvey and Stuart Banks.
