Travellers Rest Golf Group

Numbers dropped back last week to what you would expect for the second week in August in Pattaya.  After the previous week’s influx it was back to the usual suspects to fight it out for player of the week at the TRGG.  Of course it may have been because a number of poor souls had succumbed to a bout of dengue fever, which has been my excuse for giving golf a miss these past three weeks.  Dengue fever is not fun I can assure you.

Monday, August 5,Plutaluang – Stableford

On Monday it was off to the Navy course at Plutaluang which has been in superb condition for a few weeks now.  Burly Liam Horgan muscled his way to the top of the leader board with a fine round, accruing 38 pts in the process.  This score proved too good for Daryl Ottoway who finished second on 37 and Jim McNeill in third on 36.
