PSC golf from The Fairways Golf Society

Tuesday, October 11, Laem Chabang – Stableford

There was only one outing this week due to everyone playing in Killkenny’s four-man scramble on Thursday, so we decided to play one of Pattaya’s superior courses, Laem Chabang.

With everybody really looking forward to playing here it was unfortunate that the weather turned against us.  After nine holes the heavens opened up and the rain poured down.  We waited 20 minutes for it to stop before we could start again but every time we resumed play it lashed down again within a few more minutes and the course became virtually unplayable so we cancelled the competition.

Checking the score cards in the club house afterwards we decided that the winner would have been Ken Meek for the hundred meters breaststroke, Andy Crabb came second in the crawl while in third place was Alan Pilkington with the butterfly and trailing in last was Tony Duthie in the backstroke.

Note:  The Fairways Driving Range and Golf Society is situated at the top of Pattaya Klang on Sukhumvit Road.  Anyone wishing to play with us can call into the club house and put their names down on the lists provided or call Scott on 084 389 2379.  Transport is provided if required.
