The YWCA Bangkok-Pattaya Center celebrated the new year twice, both western and Chinese style.
The YWCA invited members to the Cape Dara restaurant in North Pattaya Jan. 18, a date midway between Jan. 1 and Chinese New Year Feb. 10. Everyone was encouraged to dress in glittering apparel.
The owner of the Cape Dara Hotel, Surat Mekavarakul, welcomed the ladies, who enjoyed a full buffet.
The fun lasted well into the night.
The board-members are in carnival mood.
