The Soi 5 Thanwa Community met to find ways to market locally made clothing to tourists and shoppers across Thailand to boost the local economy.

Community President Surin Yimyai presided over the Dec. 19 event with 60 local residents discussing ways to upgrade the standard of goods and services offered by Pattaya’s residents.

Development of sustainable businesses can be achieved by promoting aggregation of the community’s strengths to generate income, he said.
