PSC donates 50,000 baht to Nongprue charity

The Pattaya Sports Club donated 50,000 baht to Nongprue Sub-district to fund gifts of milk and other necessities to special-needs children.

PSC Charity Chairwoman Noi Emmerson presented the cash donation to Nongprue clerk Teerawit Thongnork and Supaset Maleewong.

Nongprue makes donations of milk, eggs, diapers and other staples for families with special-needs children the third Friday of every month. Anyone interested in helping can bring donations to the sub-district’s Social Welfare Division.

Noi said PSC every year donates about 3 million baht to local charitable organizations. It has built homes for abused and abandoned victims, toilets for the elderly and small children, and provided medical supplies to schools.

At present, the club has as many as 38,000 members who enable the club to provide aid, such as scholarships, school uniforms, books, and supplies to poor students and orphans. PSC has also been working closely with charitable organizations in Pattaya and nearby areas.

As per it name, PSC also supports local sports, such as golf, bowling, softball, fishing, and sponsors royal cup badminton and youth table tennis tournaments.
