Frank Bruno was one of the UK’s most popular athletes, but these days has traded in the gloves in favour of a life helping others less fortunate in their lives.

A star-studded event will be held at the Amari Pattaya, called “A charitable evening hosted by Frank Bruno,” with the proceeds going to assist three local charities.

Frank is flying out for the Amari buffet, having been made aware of some needy children and others in Pattaya and in the north.  The charities are Sailing for the Disabled, Women with a Mission, and the Drop-In Center under the care of the Human Help Network Foundation.

The charity evening will be held on November 3 and tickets are available for purchase from Brian Chapman Tel. 087 824 7960 and Jason Holloway Tel. 087 017 6388.

This is an excellent opportunity to shake hands with one of the UK’s finest boxers, and at the same time help some of the needy people, not as lucky as yourself.

About Frank Bruno

Frank Bruno held the WBC and European heavyweight titles, and faced multiple world champions including Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis. He won the WBC title in 1995 after defeating Oliver McCall at a packed Wembley Stadium.

Bruno was known for his excellent punching power: he won 40 of his 45 bouts and 38 by knockout, giving him a 95% knockout rate from the fights he won; his overall knockout percentage is 84.44%. Like Henry Cooper before him, Bruno has remained a popular celebrity with the British public following his retirement from boxing.
