A scene from last year’s fun-filled event.
The Bangkok Hospital Pattaya’s annual Xmas bazaar will be a little earlier this year. This well known charity event will be held on Saturday November 27, as the weeks in early December are just too full of pre-Xmas events.
This also makes it easier for Santa’s calendar, and provides for a good practice run for the reindeer. Last year, the lead reindeer (Rudolph) almost overshot the hospital’s helipad on the roof of E building, giving Santa quite a fright.
Unfortunately there will be some children hospitalized over the Xmas period, so the hospital wants our pediatric patients to have the chance to enjoy the happiest moments of Xmas like all other children. Santa Claus will go round the pediatric wards to visit all the children who are staying as in-patients.
There will be many activities during the upcoming event including Thai classical dancing, a choir, health information booths, and product booths from many organizations and charitable foundations around Pattaya. Revenue generated from this upcoming event will be donated to the needy people in our community.
Bangkok Hospital Pattaya always celebrates special events and festivals throughout the year such as the Songkran Festival, Loy Krathong Festival, Xmas, and other important Thai celebrations.
