Leading North American universities feature highly this year amongst the destinations for graduates from Regents International School Pattaya, proving that the British school has developed a winning formula for supporting students to secure degree courses across the Atlantic.

For the final two high school years, Regents’ students exchange the English National Curriculum for the International Baccalaureate Diploma – a highly rigorous programme which is clearly a hit with North American universities. This year, six students have been accepted on to degree courses at highly-rated universities: UCLA (Business Economics), Michigan State University (Psychology), Purdue University (Computer Information Technology), University of Colorado Boulder (Integrative Physiology), Ryerson University Toronto (Aerospace Engineering) and University of Toronto (Computer Science).

“As this year’s results show,” commented Head of IB at Regents, Rachel Batty, “There really are no limits to the university places our students can attain. The key is for the students to work hard, make the most of the access we give them to specialist teachers, and draw on the university entrance programmes we have developed for them.”
