Nong Plalai tykes will be going to school at Nong Ket Yai Temple while the sub-district works through delays in construction of Nong Plalai Kindergarten.

The sub-district council on April 27 agreed to pay the temple to use two buildings and five classrooms at its child development center due to continued problems securing the land to build the new kindergarten.

Nong Plalai wants to use public land in Moo 3 village, but government red tape has tied up the acquisition.

The result is that kids born in 2012 have no place to go to school, due to full classrooms at area public schools. As a result, administrators agreed to pay the temple to use its facilities temporarily.
