Mercy Center Pattaya donated a total 64,500 baht in scholarships to needy Nongprue students.
Sub-district deputy clerk Thanet Phuyim and the Mercy Center’s Liz Sheperd and Lhen Lhen handed out the 18 stipends on May 14.
Nine students received 3,000 baht for kindergarten and primary school while six got 4,000 baht each for secondary school and six received 4,500 baht for higher education.
The Mercy Center had contacted Nongprue to see what it could do to help students with good grades but lacking funds to continue their educations.
