Garden International School (GIS) celebrated Chinese New Year with dumplings, fireworks and some great performances from their talented students.

The school was decorated with candles and lanterns to mark the start of the Year of the Goat. The main hall was packed on the evening of February 12, as the Languages Department put on a special evening to celebrate Chinese culture. The night included some quick Mandarin lessons from MCs Jason and John, examples of traditional Chinese sports and some great singing and dancing. At the interval, the Friends of Garden PTA supplied delicious dumplings.
