Dr. Viphandh Roengpithya, president of Asian University, this month gave permission for the 2+3 programmes with Karlshochschule International University in Germany.

In these programmes, students study the first 2 years at Asian University to gain permission for university entrance in Germany (in their field of study). These two years focus on the foundations of management and enterprises, development of study skills, and an introduction to German language and culture within the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) programme at Asian University.

Thai students holding school leaving certificates from Mathayom 6, College of Vocational Education Grade 12, or Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher can then further their study at Karlshochschule from where they graduate with a German Bachelor degree.

All eight Bachelor degree programmes offered are conducted in English language. They are in the fields of International Business, Intercultural Management & Communication, International Marketing, International Tourism Management, Management of Meetings, Events, Conventions & Congresses, Arts & Cultural Management, Energy Management, and Media & Communication Management.

Students of all programmes study the first year together, focusing on International Business. At the end of the first year, they will be able to make an informed choice on the degree they want to pursue.
