It was fun under the big top as the Child Protection and Development Center hosted a circus for its at-risk residents.

Germany’s Ewald Dietrich, founder and president of the Human Help Network, was on hand with HHN Thailand Director Radchada Chomjinda, Jan Abbink, vice president of the Rotary Club of the Eastern Seaboard, and Diana Group Managing Director Sopin Thappajug Oct. 28 to open the event.

Before the show, Dietrich was awarded the Rotary’s Paul Harris Fellowship for his worldwide social work.

The circus was organized by the Lufthansa Group, which is studying the HHN’s various projects for a month.

Performances included the expected juggling, acrobatics and balancing acts, as well as hula-hoops and other acts.

After the show, everyone enjoyed a meal sponsored by charity sponsors.
