A Chinese-language learning center has opened in Pattaya’s Harbor Mall to support tourism from the city’s largest demographic group.
Nongnooch Pantubaworn from Ban Ruk Pasa Jeen Learning Center presided over the opening of the CLH, or Chinese Love Home, school on the mall’s sixth floor July 30.
She said CLH was opened to teach Thais involved with tourism in the Pattaya area international-level skills in the Chinese language. Visitors from China now account for more than one in four visitors to Thailand.
CLH will teach beginning, intermediate and advanced Chinese language courses for business, tourism, hotel management and computer professionals and youths.
Children’s classes are offered from ages 4 to teenagers.
