Home games switched to Chonburi for first half of season

With the start of the 2011 Thai Premier League season looming large, Pattaya United held a press conference last Friday at the Central Beach shopping mall to introduce the team’s new players to the fans and outline the club’s plans and ambitions for the upcoming campaign.

The PTT Pattaya Open, one of the longest running events on the WTA Tour is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2011. To mark the occasion the tournament has assembled one of the strongest ever field of players in the history of the tournament, added additional seating capacity in the stadium and has planned more supporting activities.

On Sunday, 6 February 2011, Pentangle Promotions and Dusit Thani Pattaya conducted the press conference and main draw for the 2011 PTT Pattaya Open being held at Dusit Thani Pattaya during 6-13 February 2011. The press conference started at 1:30 pm at the Napalai C Convention Hall attended by some of the participating players as well as organizers and sponsors of the tennis tournament.

In the 10th year of the Khun Anand Panyarachun Charity Golf Invitational for UNICEF Thailand, held at Eastern Star Country Club & Resort on Saturday, January 22, the local Eastern Star Real Estate team produced a fine winning score of net 6o to just narrowly edge out the Kasikorn Bank 1 team, who took third last year, by a single point on net 62, while the Asian Seafoods team finished as second runners up on net 65.
