BCCT in Holiday (Inn) mode

With a sponsor list of eight companies, the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT) held its latest networking evening at the Holiday Inn on Beach Road.  This was part of a cunning plan to ensure there was enough in the kitty to pay for the event, and at B. 5,000 per sponsor, represented excellent value for their money.

Pattay United left the intimidating atmosphere of the ‘Thunder Castle’ stadium in Buriram last Sunday with their heads held high after securing a well deserved point against the runaway Premier League leaders.

Pattaya United gained a morale boosting victory in their first Premier League game back after the mid-summer break with a 2-0 victory over Thai Port FC at the Pat Stadium in Bangkok last Sunday.

Rotary International’s Youth Exchange Program offers young people interesting opportunities and rich experiences to see another part of the world. Students usually spend a full academic year abroad, although some Rotary clubs and districts sponsor short-term exchanges of several weeks or months.

Pattaya United were on their travels last weekend as the ‘Dolphins’ made the short trip south to take on PTT Rayong in a qualifying round of the 2011 Toyota Cup.

United knocked out in cup opener

Pattaya United were eliminated in the first round of the RHB Singapore Cup last week after suffering a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Myanmar league team Okkthar United on Wednesday, June 15 at Singapore’s Beza Stadium.
