Asian U intensifies collaboration with Aachen UAS, Germany

In September, Prof. Dr. Klaus Mackenstein, coordinator of international programmes at the Faculty of Business, Aachen UAS (University of Applied Sciences), visited Asian U. This month, he welcomed Asian U President Dr. Viphandh Roengpithya together with Aachen UAS Rector Prof. Dr. Marcus Baumann, Prof. Dr. Norbert Janz (Dean, Faculty of Business), and Oliver Fuchs (Head, International Office). For two days, Dr. Vip got to know Aachen UAS.

“This visit was to intensify the relations between both universities,” said Prof. Dr. Mackenstein. The collaboration will be extended in three steps. As a first step, both universities will exchange students for a semester abroad from 2012.

The second stage is a double-degree between the Bachelor of Business Administration at Asian U and the Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies at Aachen UAS.

The third step will be the extension of the mutual collaboration to the areas of Design, Mechanical Engineering, and Communication and Multimedia Design.
