BANGKOK, 16 April 2014  — The Transport Company Limited is adding 2,000 more buses and vans a day, to transport those who are traveling back to Bangkok after celebrating the Thai New Year with their friends and families in home towns everywhere.

According to the company, there are 7,000 transport vehicles available to provide services for 200,000 passengers daily.

A large number of travelers arrived at Mor Chit terminal in Bangkok on the last day of the five day holiday. The normal traffic flow around Mor Chit was jammed by the many inbound buses and vans.

The company believes that on Wednesday night, many more passengers will arrive and have warned travelers that they should be prepared for heavy traffic in Bangkok early on Thursday morning.
