The radio station at the Sawang Boriboon foundation received a call late on the 10th of December that a fishing boat carrying 3 tourists had been sunk in Ko Nok Bay, 1 km from the coast.

Using three boats they rushed to the scene and were able to find the three Thai men and transfer them back to the pier at Bali Hai.

The men who were in something of a state of shock and they stated that they came from Sriracha and were holidaying in Pattaya and that they had rented the fishing boat however due to the strong winds the water came into the boat casing it to sink, but thankfully they had enough time to radio for help.
