Somphan Kumphanyaem, 37, was taken into custody the day after his birthday, on July 29, after allegedly selling two ya ba tablets to undercover officers outside PP Massage in central Pattaya.

Somphan took officers to his Soi Chalermprakiat apartment where they reportedly found an additional 72 speed pills, 1.83 g. of ya ice and paraphernalia. They also found gold necklaces and rings, 6,200 baht in cash, bank books showing transactions running into hundreds of thousands of baht and papers for upcoming court appearances.
