Students from Pattaya’s Photisampan Pittayakarn School are helping classmates avoid online scams and predators by designing logos reminding them about the importance of online safety.

The Hand-in-Hand Foundation joined with the Pattaya Cultural Council and city hall to sponsor the student logo design contest. Fifth grade student Sriprathum Paosombut earned the 3,000 top prize for her logo depicting a green monster chasing a computer with the caption “Think Before Using.”

Ten Photisampan students made the final round with sixth grade student Sumsini Royprasit winning the 2,000 baht second prize and fifth grader Kungwan Gnarnphasom placing third for 1,000 baht. Other students received 500 baht consolation prizes.

The Hand-in-Hand Foundation put the winning logos on display at its South Pattaya headquarters and will be distributing them to online businesses around town.
