Pattaya road workers repaired a broken drain cover on Soi Khao Talo that exposed a dangerous hole.
Crews using heavy equipment opened the lid and fixed its support with cement. It was then covered with a steel plate adhered with asphalt until the cement dries.
The plate was due to be removed before New Year’s Day.
