A Saudi Arabian man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a compatriot over a woman.
Alijameeli Khalf Khalafk, 37, was taken into custody Feb. 24 after the attack at the My View Condotel in Pattaya that left Alhazemt Salaham Obaidallahk, 40, with knife wounds to the arms and abdomen.
He was treated at Pattaya Memorial Hospital.
The victim’s girlfriend, Anchalee Pansanit, 31, said the three of them plus two Thai female friends were having drinks and Khalafk was chatting with the two women.
An argument over something broke out among them and Obaidallahk intervened. The situation escalated and ended up with bloodshed.
