The procession was accompanied by traditional dancing parades from various communities. The event also included demonstrations of local art and crafts, and a competition on the construction of an illuminated boat. At night, the participating boats, magnificently crafted, were launched at Lam Nam Phung in the Mekong River. The event attracted over 5,000 tourists, both local and foreign.
