Group President Chao Jiramongkol and top executives presented the donation to Vice Adm. Noppadol Supakorn, commander of the Sattahip Naval Base, at the Sabai Lodge Feb. 1.

Chao said southern flooding has affected many lives with many having died and others losing their homes and vocations. Executives of the Sabai Group were concerned so they donated funds to the navy to help victims.

“I’ve monitored the situation and am willing to help as much as we can,” Chao said, adding that the million baht was “not a lot” but hopefully will help.

“We want people in the South to have strong morale to face the problems and obstacles in this crisis.”
