Police are looking for a “good-looking guy” who stole a wallet left in a motorbike basket by a Pattaya waitress.
Jonkol Jaronram, 35, brought security camera footage of the Jan. 5 to police three days later, saying she had accidentally left her wallet in the front basket of her motorbike while parked at a beauty shop in South Pattaya.
She said a “good looking” male customer exited the shop around 6:20 p.m. and spied the wallet. He then feigned to use his telephone before jumping on his motorbike and grabbing the wallet as he drove past the bike and out of the parking area.
Inside the wallet was 800 baht, half a baht-weight in gold, documents and ATM cards.
The video showed a man in his 20s. Police are trying to locate him.
