Police arrest two suspects in bombing at public phone booth in Narathiwat

NARATHIWAT, Sept 2 - Police arrested two bombing suspects at a public phone booth in Narathiwat's Su-ngai Kolok last month.

Su-ngai Kolok district chief, police and soldiers raided a house in the district and detained two suspects, Termsak Radrungsuntree, 22, and Masuha Kade, 26, for questioning.

A motorcycle, mobile phones and their clothes believed to be used during the attack were seized.

The raid came after the police checked surveillance camera footage, capturing images of two men involved in planting the bomb at the phone booth on Bussayaphan Road on August 30.

Both men denied allegations that they were involved in the bombings which resulted in no casualties.
