PM says loan bill is transparent and beneficial to Thais

BANGKOK, 28 March 2013 Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said the 2.2 trillion loan bill is intended to raise Thailand’s competitive edge as well as the future of the country.

The Prime Minister has defended the loan bill, which is for the development of the basic infrastructure of the country, saying that it will be for the benefits of all Thai people, and to set up the cost-effective transport system for all industries.


Ms. Yingluck further stated that the loan will also create jobs and improve the standards of living for people, too. The Prime Minister added that the government is confident that the implementation of its projects will be transparent ,and that it will be able to keep the public debts under control.
