BANGKOK, 19 May 2014 – The People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) secretary-general has been rallying support for the dismissal of the Pheu Thai Party’s caretaker ministers.

PDRC leader Suthep Thaugsuban along with other core leaders has led a team of anti-government protestors out of the Phan Fa Lelat Bridge to the Memorial Bridge and the Thai-Indian community area of Pahurat in an attempt to display the “People’s Power” to oust the current government. He also urged the public to join the PDRC’s movements during May 23rd to May 25th.

During the march, the group has also spread out their forces in an attempt to locate the 24 remaining caretaker ministers of the Pheu Thai government and pressure them to resign from posts. The PDRC has also requested that a neutral prime minister and a new Cabinet be designated so that a reformation can take shape before a new general election.
