Pattaya police officers put their backs into their work when a tour bus broke down on Third Road, pushing the idled coach out of traffic.
Pol. Capt. Wuttikorn Podpong was leading a group of officers and volunteers at a checkpoint when the Thai Global Transport bus full of Chinese tourists stalled in the middle of the street.
Driver Supakit Reungkam, 29, said the coach was bound for the Alcazar Theater when a belt broke, killing the engine.
Officers en masse pushed the bus to the side of the road to the amazement of the passengers and passersby.
A new bus was brought in to shuttle the tourists to their show.
