An elderly Pattaya man made merit in honor of HM the late King by giving away 1,000 black t-shirts to royal mourners.
Sombat Suksathidthanawat, 69, handed out the t-shirts from his Soi Skaw Beach house Oct. 24. People lined up down to Second Road to get one of the shirts, which were emblazoned with the Thai numeral 9 for King Rama IX and the text “May I forever be your loyal subject”.
Sombat said his family were grateful for HM the King’s generosity and wanted to do a good thing in his name.
