On the 2nd of September at Jomtien Beach a parade took place of Lord Ganesh organized by the Lord Ganesh's Worshippers Association during the Ganesh Churti festival, which is the biggest festival to worship his birthday.
This festival is celebrated all over India by building a huge replica of Lord Ganesh and everyday citizens worship and perform aarti asking for blessings from the Lord.
On the day Lord Ganesh's replica is paraded on a car, that has been beautifully decorated this replica is a Harumphuk-sawuaysuk made of soil of 2.39 meters in height, this replica is the biggest in Thailand and Lord Ganesh is believed to be the god of success and love.
