Long-standing potholes and pavement damage on the North Road bridge entering Pattaya from Sukhumvit Road have been repaired by city hall.

Six workers were dispatched April 28 to fill in the holes, some of which were more than a meter wide and 30 centimeters deep.

There had been numerous complaints from local residents, who warned that while they were aware of the road damage, the many visitors coming to the city often were caught unaware.

The patch job was done with asphalt, so there’s no predicting how long it will last once the rainy season begins.

Members from Pattaya Engineer Department were seen repairing long-standing potholes and pavement damage under the bridge entering Pattaya.
