Nongprue Municipal Clerk Teerawith Thongnok laid out the scope of the Sept. 22 event at Sawangboriboon Wittaya and Sutthawat Temple during a Sept. 13 planning meeting.

The event was organized to teach youths awareness, values, morality and ethics, and to create discipline to prevent corruption in Nongprue Sub-district.

The goal was to teach youths not to be selfish or take advantage of others, to know what is right and wrong and properly behave. Honesty, volunteerism, fairness, responsibility and living sufficiently were stressed.

The rally follows a government decree to teach youths to avoid corruption while growing up. Future events will be aimed at preschool, primary and secondary students.a
